These ATF oils are designed to meet the performance requirements of general motors.

This aftermarket replacement for the original Dexron 2 is ideal for automatic gear boxes on older equipment, typically the 3-speed and 4-speed auto transmissions built by GM, Ford (Mercon), CAT, Volvo and others pre-1990 (please check the manufacturer’s original specification for DII suitability or call us for advice).
Dexron II ATF remains fluid at low temperatures, has good high-temperature oxidation stability and is anti-foaming.
Dexron II was superseded by Dexron III in 1993, which in turn was discontinued by GM and replaced by VI in 2005. OptimOil supply ATF II and III compatible Transmission Fluids, now that Dexron no longer license these standards.
